Next, we’ll explore Chinatown, the oldest Chinatown in North America. We continue through the former epicenter of the Beat Movement: North Beach and Little Italy. Nearby, we observe Coit Tower, which rises from the top of Telegraph Hill and offers incredible, 360-degree views of the city.
We’ll then pass through the Financial District and Nob Hill, followed by a stop at the iconic Palace of Fine Arts. Before we head out for lunch, we’ll visit Fort Point for an absolutely unforgettable view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Midday | Lunch Stop in Sausalito or San Francisco

It’s the perfect opportunity to recharge, and if time allows, grab a coffee at a nearby cafe, browse local boutiques, or just relax and enjoy the views.
Afternoon | Westside & Cultural Icons of San Francisco
The afternoon portion of our San Francisco history tour explores the city’s west side and many of its famous cultural landmarks! We begin with a stop at the famous Mrs. Doubtfire House, a must-see for movie lovers, before heading to the captivating ruins of the Sutro Baths and the nearby Cliff House.
Next, enjoy a picturesque drive through Golden Gate Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country, known for its incredible gardens and museums, and home to some of the city’s most iconic music festivals. We’ll then explore the Haight-Ashbury, the colorful birthplace of the 1960s counterculture movement.
Next, enjoy a visit to Twin Peaks, complete with panoramic views across the entire city. From there, we explore the lively Mission District, known for its murals, deep Latinx roots, and incredible cuisine.
