Next, we head north to Muir Woods National Monument, one of the most incredible places to visit in the Bay Area. The park is home to thousands of giant ancient redwood trees, some of which are over 1000 years old! You’ll have about an hour to explore the area’s shaded boardwalks and forest trails at your own pace.
